Program Graduates
Since beginning our first fellowship position in July 2002, our growing program has proudly graduated 5 physicians, all of whom are now Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine.

Dr. Chang, a member of our second fellowship class pursued an interventional cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung after program completion. He his currently practicing clinical cardiology in Toms River, NJ.

Dr. Godin relocated from Boston to Philadelphia where he received his undergraduate degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. He subsequently received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His medical post-graduate training was completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He was Chief Fellow in the UMDNJ-SOM Cardiology Fellowship. After completion of his fellowship, Dr.Godin joined South Jersey Heart Group where he currently remains involved in the education and training of the fellows at UMDNJ. Dr.Godin is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is trained in all aspects of clinical and diagnostic cardiology. He is also one of the few cardiologists in the South Jersey area trained and certified in performing and interpreting cardiac CT angiography studies (64-clice cardiac CT).

Dr. Zarrella completed his undergraduate course work at Albright College in Reading PA before matriculating to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Zarrella completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry -- School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford NJ. He served as both Chief Resident and Chief Cardiology Fellow during his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
Dr. Zarrella is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine and Internal Medicine. He practices as an invasive (but non-interventional) cardiologist. He can be found at any of our practice locations and hospitals. |

Dr. David R. Charles brings a diverse background to the fellowship having lived in multiple regions of the country with many educational experiences. Graduating from Catholic High school and attending multiple Jesuit institutions, Dr. Charles has a strong sense of ethics and compassion that reflects in his approach to clinical medicine. Dr. Charles was born in Philadelphia, PA. Growing up on the West Coast primarily. He received his B.S. in Biology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA in 1995 and graduated Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. Dr. Charles received his M.P.H from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, New Orleans in 1997 and his M.B.A from St. Joseph’s University School of Business, Philadelphia, PA in 2000. After leaving our program Dr. Charles pursued a fellowship in electrophysiology, and upon completion, Dr. Charles, plans to return to practice in his hometown of Las Vegas, NV. In his free time Dr. Charles likes soccer, football and cooking.
Dr. Charles is in an Electrophysiology Training Program at Cooper University Hospital, Camden NJ.

Dr. Randle. is a 2003 medical graduate from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed is internship and residency at UMDNJ-SOM (Kennedy Health System/Our Lady of Lourdes Hosp) where he also served as Chief Internal Medicine Resident. Dr. Randle is currently enrolled in the cardiology fellowship with an expected completion date of June 2009. Prior to medical school, he obtained his B.S. Biochemistry from Rutgers University – Cook College. Prior to his career in medicine, he spent several years working in the biotechnological - pharmaceutical industry where he was a valuable part of various research teams. He currently resides in South Jersey and enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Dr. Randle is currently board certified in Internal Medicine and plans to practice as a clinical cardiologist at South Jersey Heart Group after completion of his fellowship.

Dr. Pressman completed his undergraduate training at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated Cum Laude and was a member of both the tennis and crew teams. He then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ where he completed both his internship and residencyin Internal Medicine. Dr. Pressman is currently a third year Cardiology fellow and he is licensed to practice Medicine in Both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife, son and daughter. When not at work, he enjoys fishing, tennis and hiking. Dr. Pressman will be practicing in Florida.

Dr. Deborah Sambucci grew up in the South Jersey area. She attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate degree and The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree. Post-graduate education was obtained at the Kennedy Health Care system and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and has completed one year of training in the field of Critical Care. She currently lives in Marlton, NJ with her husband Mark, her daughter and dog Stella.
