Dr Momplaisir joined SJHG in the summer of 2006 after completion
of a year of Interventional Cardiology with peripheral vascular
training at Habor-UCLA Good Samaritan
Hospital in Los Angeles,
California and a 3 year Cardiology fellowship at Stony
Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY.
He completed a 3 year training program in Internal Medicine at
Penn State University Hospital after completing his post graduate
training at Penn State
College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. Dr Momplaisir’s
undergraduate training was at Brooklyn
College of the City University of New York in Brooklyn, N Y.
Dr Momplaisir is licensed to practice in California, New York
and New Jersey and is board certified in Internal Medicine and
Cardiovascular Disease. He has published multiple research papers
and is a member of the American College
of Cardiology and the Association
of Black Cardiologists. He speaks French, Creole and has some knowledge
of Spanish and can usually be found at the New Jersey Heart Institute
(Our Lady
of Lourdes Medical Center). |
